Hi,

I got question regarding AD security policies. Is it possible to apply AD security policies (like password complexity, expiration time etc.) to DNN users without having these users in AD? I can't add all my DNN users to AD but I'd like to use AD policies for DNN users. Could this be achieved using your Active Directory Provider? Or could this be achieved another way?

Thanks in advance.

The short answer is No, the AD provider won't work this way. You might not be able to apply all the security policies you want but you should be able to a lot of them right in DNN itself (through the web.config and the User Settings (Admin->User Accounts->User Settings)).
