I installed DNN 04.08.04 today and tried downloading and installing 'Active directory provider v1.00.03 from the DNN website.
Folowing error is rejected at installation phase of the module:

Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: Dnn load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnLoaderFactory.GetDnnAdapter() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

Can anybody help me installing the AD into DNN4?

Kinds regards,

Benny De Clippeleir

Hi Benny

You don't install it through the "Module" Installer in 4.8.

Go to Host/Host Settings, scroll down to the Authentication Settings are - expand the area.  There should be an Install Authentication System button.
