I am creating a very simple module that displays the last 3 blog entries for the home page.

I do a select from Blog_Entries and display the "description" field on the page.

My problem is that these descriptions have and should have html markup. The tags are being displayed, instead of the browser rendering the markup. For example, instead of "this is bold text", this displays: "this is <strong>bold</strong> text".

How do I fix this? I tried to look in the blog module code, but have no idea where to look. Tons of classes and tons of stuff going on.

TIA!

I looked around the the text/html module because it seems to store the content encoded like the blog does.

Server.HtmlDecode() does the trick. I should have known. :)

You should be able to use Server.HtmlDecode() to decode the values.
