I always use the 3.5 compilers - so that is not the issue.

Any luck from your logs?  Either the script logs or the EventLog in the db.

I don't even see any errors in my event logs, I'm just getting the Error has orrcured error after the upgrade was apparently a complete success, Object not set to an instance of an object, would be REALLY nice to get detail errors in DNN

Not sure if this will solve everyone's problems but the upgrade package included the System.Web.Extensions.dll in the bin directory, for my particular case removing this dll corrects my problem.  I initially thought the dll was not registered in my web.config but upon review it was.  Not sure why this corrected my problem or why this dll was included in the upgrade as it was not in my bin directory prior to upgrade.  I assume that my installation is getting this library from the GAC?  Hopefully this helps someone.  If anyone has more information about why this might have corrected my problem i'd be interested in a better understanding.

Thanks.

Derek
