Lovely. Thanks for the info and good luck.

Does Mitch Sellers monitor this any more? Mitch. You there? We would love a resoltuon to this problem but your last post is a year old! If you are still a part of this project, please provide a realistic timeline for the fix or let us know if it will ever be fixed so we can move on if we have to.

I have to decide now. Should I insist DNN pull this from thier distribuition? Insist they take over the project and fix it? Ask if they can replace it with something comparable? Or do I scrap DNN all together for a platform that comes with less headaches?

I'll chime in here. I posted in this thread months back as this particular issue impacted 3 of my clients sites as well. I haven't tried DNN 7 however I'm amazed (but not surprised) a bug like this isn't resolved.

I've been a DNN user since 2003 and even attended various DNN events throughout the years - but like I moved on from my motorola startac flip phone to an iphone I also had to move on from DNN to drupal. I'm now a happy camper and my clients are happy to.

I am getting tired of waiting. I just downloaded the source code and am attempting to fix it myself. Once I get the source implemented on my test system correctly, I'll start looking at fixing the code and maybe I can have a "Fan Update" for people in the future since no one else is looking into this.

Hey Mitch, if you are reading this thread and want to lend me some help getting your source debuggable on my setup...I'm here. :-)

Epic win Ben. I wish I had the skills to help but if you need a test case, I have a DNN Community instance at home and a Pro instance at the office.

Good luck. Keep us posted!

ROTFL... I spent all of 30 minutes on this, 25 of which was getting the source code installed on my system. I took 5 minutes to check the code out and I think I fixed the problem... I compiled and a new version for install (v05.00.01). However, I am developing on DNN v06.02.06. This means that it won't install on previous versions... In order for me to make it compatible I would have to install a completely new development environment of whichever (earlier) version I would need the module to be compatible with. I don't think I'll be doing that at this point in time.

If anyone with DNN v06.02.06+ wants to test out the fix...let me know. I will supply you with a link to Download the new version for testing. You Can E-Mail me at TekkGuy@gmail.com
