I also have the same problem, The default folder is set to a subfolder off the root, and when I then add a document to the module it ignores this and defaults to root. I'm running the current latest version 4.1.0. I've tried IE and Chrome and neither work. Be great to get this sorted. The client really needs it. Thanks Kapai

I would like to fix this problem so that my users would stop dumping files in the f---ing root directory. If I restrict access to the root directory we get trouble calls becasue they don't see an upload button. I don't have Visual Studio, and the Express version won't load the project. Can someone out there re-build the DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.dll file and share it with us?

Agreed, does anyone have the rebuilt DLL or maybe a short-term ETA on the / a new version on the Documents module? I'm trying to keep my site as close-to-core as possible to avoid having to chase down 3rd party module updates and bugs when having to update DNN.
