Hi, I tried using YAML, and it seems to work great. However, the DNN forum module's width is messed up under the YAML skin. Is there something I'm missing? This occurs in IE and Firefox, but not in Chrome.

thanks!

Is the width of the form module bigger than the width of it's pane or container? Can you give me a link where this problem occurs?

@ Jeff & Armand: I know exactly what you mean, YAML needs some time to understand it's structure and how you should use it correctly. But then you're able to create any type of layout very fast. Our step by step tutorial is a good start :-)

For simple grid layouts is 960 (and some other css grid frameworks) great,  but we sometimes have to convert complicated layouts of external designers to a DotNetNuke skin and YAML gives us the possibility to do this whithin a short time.

Correct

I can see the use for YAMl, but its not a grid framework, its a multi column layout. I like to use grids in my design ( so thats why I looked at the 960 grid framework ) so if I cannot use a grid instead of using another css framework I prefer to code it myself then almost as fast and I dont need to learn any other system. But nonetheless its a good tutorial.

Armand, I'm with you. Between the work that Nathan Smith (and others) did with the original 960.gs system and your work on the DNN skin version, this is the one for me.  I've been using 960 on a lot of my newer projects and it works well... And when I do come up with a complicated layout that doesn't work within this framework, the CSS is easily manipulated to accommodate my needs (as its a pure css framework, if something doesn't fit, change the css).

well for that im working on a new tool , before using the grid builder you can also define your own custom grid ( nr of columns grid with and margin ) based on that css is created and that you can use in the gridbuilder again, if you want to test send m email to nokiko at gmail.com
