Ok so I've upgraded...

First impressions are that the speed in general of the forums is significantly better which is fantastic.  However in current settings still not good enough.

The current setup for my site is I have the forum in standard view with all forums showing.  In the right pane I have Text/HTML modules containing links to each individual forum group.  Ideally the forum's default view would be  the "all forums" group (aggregate) with users able to navigate to any forum using the appropriate group link from the right pane.  Unfortunately I can't make the default view "all forums".  I can make it any other group but not "all forums".  If I change the forum settings to aggregate the ability to view groups via the links in the right pane breaks down.

I understand that my site is not a standard site but the problems regarding default views and aggregate settings are important for any site IMO.
