Hi Sebastian. I've had more of a look around, and on this DNN forum, 'My Settings' takes you to the main site profile. And the Avatar comes from the main site profile too. This seems so much more sensible to me than having 2 split user profile areas. I'd like to do this myself, but cant see how. Please tell me I can replicate what the DNN forum does.

AFAIK it is the intention to integrate forums with DNN profile, like ActiveForums and ActiveSocial do. Susie, I haven't checked out, whether this is possible in Forums 5.0 without code modifications, neither did I check out the XAF forums module yet, Stephan - maybe you should put your question on the discussions page of the codeplex project.

Speed up your DNN Websites with TurboDNN

After having upgraded from DNN 4.9.0 to 5.6.2 and upgraded the forums to latest, I've added the Messaging Module back to a page on our site titled "Private Messages". I don't see the module showing when in View or Edit mode. When in Layout Mode I can see the container, but there is no module content. I don't see any Messaging settings.

If this new core messaging module usable at all? I can't seem to get it to show or work.
